Dear sir or madam,

I am writing to apply for the position of the cameraman as advertised in the magazine BBC. I would be grateful if I am a part of the documentary called Survival, in which a team goes to a mountain to live 3 months and they make a documentary of it.

Firstly, regarding to what you ask for the documentary, I can say that I gained some experience while travelling to different places of the world. I have learnt a lot of things travelling such as living with only the essential things. I learnt that in Morocco.

Secondly, I live in the Basque Country so I am always surrounded by mountains. Our environment is famous because of the mountains and that makes no problem for me to go to there 3 months because I am used to them. Also I Have got a very good knowledge about plants and animals. This could be useful for the participants to tell them not to eat a poisoned plant or fight against a dangerous animal.

Thirdly, I have a channel on youtube where I record all my travels. This has taught me to record as a professional in every places. Also I know how to edit videos, so if you need a person who edit them, I could help.

Finally, I love to see survival programs and that type of things. Becoming part of one of them has been my dream since I was a child and it will be amazing for me to be part of this.

Dear sir or madam,

I would like to apply for the the position of architect which I saw advertised on the newspaper. As a lifelong enthusiast of architecture, I was thrilled to see your posting for the position of architect.

First of all, for the last years I have been studying this field. I have some experiences in it so I worked in some projects that have been very successful. My knowledge will not be a problem because I have been always a good student in this field. Also I am hard-working, I do not retreat until I finished it.

Regarding to what you ask in the newspaper, my skill will be useful because my grandfather has been an architect and I learned so much things for it. When I was young we both build a lot of things such as a dog house or a boat.

Last but not least, it has always been a dream for me to work as an architect, so I will never lose the desire to work. In the distant future I do not see myself in anything other than architecture.
